This year, we have something important to celebrate: Ohio 211 now reaches every county in Ohio.

For the first time, people across all 88 counties can turn to 211 for help finding essential health and human services in their communities. That statewide expansion represents much more than increased geographic coverage—it creates new opportunities to connect people with the organizations, programs and services available to help them.

And that means more opportunities for organizations across Ohio to become part of the 211 resource network.

The 2026 Ohio 211 Annual Meeting will bring together 211 professionals, community organizations, government agencies, healthcare partners, nonprofits and other leaders from across the state to celebrate this milestone and look ahead to what comes next.

As the network grows, so does our ability to build relationships with organizations in every part of Ohio, strengthen the information available to people seeking assistance, and make it easier for individuals and families to find the right help at the right time.

Kara B. Wente

Kara B. Wente, Director of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, will join us as our 2026 keynote speaker. Director Wente and DCY have been instrumental partners in Ohio 211’s statewide expansion, helping extend 211 service to all 88 counties and connect more Ohio families with trusted local resources.
